For the 2024-25 school year, the Bardstown Early Childhood Education Center will accept children who will be 3 or 4 years old by August 1, 2024.
Online enrollment opens March 18.
Families living outside the boundaries of the Bardstown City Schools district may apply for their child to attend BCS. For early consideration for our enrollment into our preschool program at Bardstown Early Childhood Education Center families must apply between Jan. 3 – March 8. Applications submitted AFTER March 8th will not know their application status until late spring. To apply for enrollment in Bardstown Early Childhood for the 2024-25 school year must complete this 2024-25 Out-Of-District Request for Enrollment Application. Families who apply will receive notification on the status of their application in late April. At that time, if your application has been approved you will receive a link to complete BCS’s online enrollment.
How Do I Enroll?

All BCS families that have one student already enrolled will do the annual update through Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. If you need to enroll your child as a new student, you will add that child during the update process.
Complete the 2024-25 Online Enrollment Registration for new families (link will be live March 18). Families who reside outside of Bardstown City Schools boundaries may not complete the enrollment application until their out-district application has been approved.
You’ll also need to upload the following documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency (utility bill or lease)
- Immunization Certificate
- Preschool Physical Exam (preschool or kindergarten enrollment)
- Eye Examination (preschool or kindergarten enrollment)
- Student’s Insurance Information
We understand you may not have digital files of these documents. You may complete online enrollment without these documents, however, a member of our enrollment team will be in touch to collect these necessary documents. Your enrollment application will be placed on hold until a copy of these documents are physically received at our school or district offices.
Finalize Your Enrollment at our Preschool Event
Join us on April 26 from 2PM-7PM to complete additional enrollment paperwork, register for child care, and to submit important documents like birth certificate, proof of residency, a non-refundable $30 Registration Fee (if your child will be tuition based), and more. Attendance of this event is required in order to place your child in a morning or afternoon session.
